Last year we very sadly lost a great local horseman to a Brain Tumour and since then a great friend of mine, Sharon Mynard, has done an amazing job of fundraising for this charity.
Last year she completed her very own marathon in her wheelchair and this year she decided to encourage us all to take part by doing a Lockdown Lollop.
The rules were simple complete a 10 mile course of your choice, wherever you were located and raise sponsorship money for the charity only stipulation was you couldn’t use any motor powered vehicles.
So me and some friends decided we would run a third, ride a third and then walk the rest – which we all did on Good Friday and between us we have raised over £5000 which is just amazing.
And we have just heard we will be on BBC South news tonight as well 🙂 Very proud of the whole team.
